When is the best time for a honeymoon in Batanes?
March through May offers the best weather — sunny skies, calm seas (important for the Sabtang Island boat crossing), and warm temperatures around 24–28°C. The golden-hour sunsets during these months are legendary. December to February is cooler and quieter, perfect for couples who prefer a more intimate, moody atmosphere.
How many nights should we stay for a honeymoon?
We recommend a minimum of 3 nights to enjoy the key experiences — island tours, romantic dining, and relaxation. Four to five nights is ideal, giving you time to explore at a leisurely pace, have a full rest day, and truly disconnect from everyday life.

Absolutely. We regularly help partners plan surprise proposals and special celebrations. Our rooftop terrace, with its panoramic ocean views and sunset backdrop, is a favorite setting. Is Batanes safe for couples traveling from abroad?
Batanes is consistently ranked as one of the safest provinces in the Philippines. The Ivatan community is famously honest and welcoming — locals leave their doors unlocked and shops operate on an honor system. Crime is virtually nonexistent. It is an exceptionally safe and peaceful destination for international travelers.
How do we get to Batanes?
Fly from Clark (CLK) to Basco Airport (BSO) — the flight takes about 1.5 hours. If you arrange your airport pickup with us, our team will be waiting for you when you land. Villa Ferrer is in Mahatao, approximately 15 minutes from the airport. We recommend booking flights early as they sell out quickly.
